EMEA market for integrated systems continues to grow rapidly in third quarter of 2018

Nutanix with its hyperconverged systems shows the strongest growth with plus 70.9 % in Q3 2018 compared to Q3 2017.

The market for integrated systems continues to grow rapidly. In the third quarter of 2018, it reached $873 million, an increase of 20.1 percent over the previous year. The main reason for this is the high demand for hyperconverged systems.

According to an IDC study, the integrated systems market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) grew significantly by 20.1 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2018, reaching $873 million. According to analysts, traditional converged systems showed a relatively flat growth curve, but still accounted for over 60 percent of total revenue in the region. Hyperconverged systems, on the other hand, again recorded massive growth and recorded a 70.9 percent increase in Q3 2018 compared to the previous year.

In the list of the most important manufacturers, Nutanix recorded the highest growth in fifth place with a plus of 62.3 percent compared to the previous year. In terms of volume, however, Dell EMC is at the top with an equally remarkable growth of 32.9 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
