Successful WIRD Technology Day Ticino!
This year's event strategy to invite 5 Gartner-, Forrester or IDC leaders in their field and give a short, 25 minute introduction to what makes the solutions of these young, highly innovative companies so successful, has proven successful.

The conference hall in magnificient "Villa Sassa" hotel in Lugano was full with interested company and IT managers and all of them stayed on to listen to the WIRD partner companies Nutanix, Rubrik, Cloudian as well as CrowdStrike and Silver Peak until the end of the event.
The first 3 discussions were focussed on modern data center infrastructure (traditional, hybrid and cloud) and after the break, the focus was on security and on SD-WAN based company networks.
As Eric Guinchard, WIRD's CEO pointed out in his opening remarks, WIRD takes an entirely different approach compared to the other solution providers. Running our own Cloud datacentres (under the WIRD.cloud offering from WIRD's subsidiary Cortex IT SA), WIRD knows exactly where the priorities and challenges for the client companies and large organisations are. WIRD therefore offers only solutions, which are addressing these challenges and provides IT and security solutions which help client organisations to address these priority topics. Some of the most important challenges are: Lack of skilled specialists, pressure on IT operating cost, demand for high flexibility of all IT systems, speed of implementation for new projects but also mounting cybersecurity challenges from increasingly sophisticated attacker organisations.
The presenters of the WIRD partners could viably demonstrate, that they provide the most innovative and future-proof solution and it is not for nothing that they are awarded top marks by all leading analysts such as Gartner, Forrester or IDC.
After three exciting and informative hours, all guests took the opportunity to deepen some of the topics with the speakers or the WIRD specialists while enjoying the delicacies from the "Villa Sassa" kitchen.
